  • Family, Community, and Careers - This course examines God’s plan for our lives and relationship, specifically outlining the top 4 priorities we should have, based upon Scripture. We will study eternal biblical principles for establishing a personal relationship with Christ (Priority 1), Understanding our roles within God’s design for our families (Priority 2), establishing trust-bond friendships and developing God-honoring courting or dating relationships in order to realize God’s plan for a lifelong mate (Priority 3), and finally understanding our individual spiritual gifts in order to use them in ministry for God’s glory (Priority 4).

    Life Skills and Careers - This Course examines how to understand God’s will for our lives, careers, and ministries, specifically outlining how to make wise decisions when planning for college, pursuing a career, handling money, and leading in ministry, based upon Scripture.

    Current Issues - This course examines how the truth of Scripture as it relates to the current issues facing society and the Church today. We will discover how worldviews are formed and what components make-up the framework of a worldview.

    Comparative Religions - This course will examine the core beliefs, values, and worldviews of the major religions around the world, beginning with Christianity, which will be taught as absolute truth. We will conduct an in-depth study at the Christian Scriptures: how we got them, how we can know they are truth, and the history behind their preservation and translation.

  • Foundations I - This course examines on the relational nature of the Christian faith. Being rooted in the understanding that God is our good Father who created the world out of a deep love and affection and who has a design and a purpose for his children, students will learn how to find their identity in that love and then share that love with those around them.

    Foundations II - This course examines the practical nature of our faith and how it is developed and strengthened through the practice of the spiritual disciplines of the Christian life. The saving faith that is given through grace alone by God our good Father through the death and resurrection of Jesus is meant to be practiced, strengthened, and put to work. We begin by seeing how, as our perfect Temple; Jesus opens the holy of holies and gives us access to come boldly before the throne of God. Not only that, but he makes us worthy to put our faith to work and grow closer with him and do good works for him as his children.

    Foundations III - This course examines the authoritative nature of the Christian faith. Beginning with the understanding that God is our Creator and that we are made in his image, the students will learn the importance of recognizing God’s authority in their lives and why it is necessary and good for followers of Christ to trust in and follow the commandments of God. Students will also learn the importance of following the sources of earthly authority in their lives (parents, teachers, governments, etc.) because all earthly authority is given by God.

  • The Basics - This course teaches students how to live lives marked by Christian virtue by learning to reflect the character of God in their daily lives through Paul’s teaching on the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians chapter five. This is accomplished through Bible study, scripture memorization, crafts, and games that help root students deeply in the truth of how the Gospel changes us from the inside out.
